Watch Ye! Pray Ye!
By Sarah Foulkes Moore
It was the midnight shout, "Behold, the Bridegroom cometh," that revived the sleeping virgins (Matt. 25:6).
Christians, are you ready if that shout were heard tonight? Are you hourly trimming your life with the Word of God? Constant preparation for the Bridegroom’s coming involves the ever pressing necessity of being ever ready. "They that were ready went in with Him to the marriage" (Matt. 25:10).
To those who love His appearing, the present need is for deep heart-searching and of prayer without ceasing. Humbling, breaking, watching, waiting, following on all the way with Him to His standard of perfection – is the spirit of prayer without ceasing that prepares the heart.
