HERALD INTERNATIONAL (Printing In Over Twenty Languages)
Reaching Other Languages For The Glory Of Christ
"...and there before me was one like a Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into His presence. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and His kingdom is one that will never be destroyed" (Dan. 7:13-14).
Danielís vision of the rule of the Lord reveals the Lordís desire that His kingdom extend to "all peoples, nations and men of every language." Even as early as the Book of Genesis, we see that Godís desire is that all people be blessed through Jesus. After the episode with the Tower of Babel which led God to confuse the language of the people and scatter them over the earth (Gen. 11:1-9), He began to work through Abraham, promising to bless "all peoples on earth" through him (Gen. 12:3; 22:18). We now rejoice because God is fulfilling that promise through our Lord Jesus Christ, who was slain, and through His blood has "purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation" (Rev. 5:9).
The beloved words of Jesus recorded in John 3:16 remind us of how great and far-reaching Godís love is for mankind: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Jesus goes on to share that no one took His life from Him, but He laid it down of His own accord (John 10:18). In other words, because of their great love for all people, our Heavenly Father was willing to sacrifice His own Son, and Jesus was willing to give up His life as that sacrifice. The Apostle Paul describes the cost of this love in this way: "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this way: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Rom. 5:8).
As people receive that love, it is not surprising that they develop that same desire for the salvation of all people, and become willing to give unselfishly of themselves in order to reach out and share Godís love with others. In the New Testament, for example, we see Godís people pressing forward with Godís message, crossing racial barriers, cultural barriers, national barriers and language barriers. In our own day, such work continues as missionaries, Bible translators, and others continue to go into all the world with Godís burden for those of other nations and languages. Other believers intercede, and still others offer funding and other support to help fulfill Godís desire that all peoples on earth be blessed through Christ. The Apostle Paul gives a beautiful description of how all of this works together:
"For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile Ė the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for ĎEveryone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.í How, then, can they call on the One they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ĎHow beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!í" (Rom. 10:12-15).
One of the privileges of the ministry of Herald of His Coming is the opportunity to share the Lordís message with believers and unbelievers in many different nations and in a number of different languages. The staff of Herald of His Coming thanks all of you who help with this outreach. The Lord is gracious to work through your gifts and prayers for Herald of His Coming and Herald International to bless the lives of many. Your support for the other language editions of the Herald is especially appreciated as a number of these are reaching brothers and sisters in Christ who are in very difficult circumstances where there is much oppression to the Gospel and very hard living conditions. How good it is to be able to offer spiritual encouragement to them!
Our prayer is that the Lord may enable us to continue with you in this precious work, as we look forward to the day when "a great multitude...from every nation, tribe, people and language" will stand before the throne and in front of the Lamb, and cry out in a loud voice: "Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb" (Rev. 7:9-10). With that day in mind, we hope that you will join us in these remaining days in seeking the Lord for His provision, protection and anointing upon the following editions of Herald of His Coming, and the workers and readers associated with them.

I was so excited and overwhelmed by Godís mercy that the paper is finally out, forever anointed. It is your support which has kept us going and spreading the Word of life. ē For God to save many, many souls through the Salvation literature printed by some editions.
ēIn India opposition to Christianity is on the rise in places such as Orissa and Karnataka. People are being killed and several churches have been burned. Even in Kerala where more Christians live there are disturbances and opposition to prayer meetings. Only God can change this. Kindly pray that the oppressors may realize the gravity of this situation and refrain from such activities and turn to be loving and respecting of others.
