From Eternityís Viewpoint By
  C. Merrill Johnson

Five minutes after Iím in heaven everything will appear in new perspective. Suddenly the things I thought important Ė tomorrowís tasks, my success or failure Ė these will not matter at all. Five minutes after Iím in heaven Iíll be overwhelmed by the truths Iíve known but some Iíve never grasped. Iíll sense that it was not just how much I had but how I gave Ė and how I withheld.

Iíll wish with all my heart that I could reclaim a thousandth part of the time Iíve let slip through my fingers which could have glorified my Lord. Five minutes after Iím in heaven, Iíll wonder at my aimless earthly life. Iíll wish Ė but it will be too late!

Remember, heaven and hell are real, and eternity is but a breath away!

"The things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal" (2 Cor. 4:18).

"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also" (Matt. 6:19-21).

"See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. Öbe filled with the Spirit" (Eph. 5:15-18).
