Millions Of Christians To Unite In Global Day Of Prayer – May 27

On May 27, from the rising of the sun in the east and across each time zone until it sets, many Christians will be joining in responding to God’s call in 2 Chronicles 7:14: "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways…I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin…."

From its origin among believers in South Africa, a prayer movement has swept across Africa, uniting Christians in praying for their city and their nation. In 2005 believers around the world were invited to join in the first-ever Global Day of Prayer. It is expected that the 2007 Global Day of Prayer, scheduled for May 27, will unite millions of believers, gathered in venues from small village squares to large stadiums, repenting and crying out to God for revival.
