All To The Glory Of God
"Whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God" (1 Cor. 10:31).
If any child of God will adopt this verse as his rule of conduct, he will be amazed at what it will accomplish in his life. It will sweeten all his service. It will turn drudgery into delight. It will be a safeguard against pride.
It is the only ground on which he can pray with confidence. The sieve, "Is it for the glory of God?" will screen out much of our worthless praying.
It will keep us from being earthbound. It will settle every question of conduct. It will settle every question of standard. Worldliness, greed, jealousy, unholy tempers and ambitions will be seen in their right light when measured by this Scripture.
