Showing the power of the Holy Spirit working through the printed page

Thank you for sending me the November and December issues of Herald of His Coming. It was great reconnecting with the anointed teachings in the pages of the Herald after many years. I used to receive them in Ethiopia from 1993 up until 1998 – after which I couldn’t be in touch because of being a "nomad" moving from place to place. These two issues have been extremely helpful in rekindling the fire in my heart. I was led to refresh my zeal to seek revival in my own life and in my ministry – as a deliberate, intentional quest. I have no words to express how these teachings have touched me. Their call for prayer, repentance, and for a righteous/holy living is compelling. The Holy Spirit still speaks through the articles. There is no column I read without having been convicted or inspired or challenged. Some of them have given me shock at how lax I have become in my prayer life. Some have shown me hope of getting refreshed by the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and have thus encouraged me to keep on praying, reading and doing good at all times. What a joy to have people to relate to in one’s aspirations. May God bless you richly as you continue to advance the works of His kingdom in peoples’ hearts….

Greetings to you. We pray for all of you every day, sometimes in night service….Herald of His Coming has been a huge blessing to us. Praise our most high God! Thank you all the Herald staff. "Pilate said unto [Jesus], Art Thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth My voice" (John 18:37).

Herald of His Coming material is something which has helped me a lot in my Christian life and others too. By the grace of God the Herald has made me strong in the Word of God. I am just a church member and through Herald of His Coming I became an evangelist, preaching in my town. My senior pastor has opened a church at another town in the year 1992, and from 1992 to 1994 there were only six people in the church. Since I have started receiving Herald of His Coming material from 1995 up to 2003 I have given up myself to the Lord by making a personal evangelism from house to house, from village to village. At the moment I have won one hundred and thirty souls without a crusade. I always preach the doctrine I learned in the Herald of His Coming material. Churches invite me to preach and by the grace of God, I preach a message which they never heard because of the good doctrine learned out from the Herald of His Coming material.

This is the way I am doing the work of the Lord. I use my strength to make a farm, and somebody has bought me a machine for proclaiming the Word of God. I go to farm early in the morning at 6 a.m., and I come back home at 2 p.m. to learn the Word of God. I preach the Word of God on every Monday evening at 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and on Thursday evening and Saturday evening I preach at the same time. I have opened a prayer camp in the ministry on every Friday, fasting and prayer and healing, and every Tuesday I make a follow up on the church members. I am able to do such a thing not by my powers, but also by the power of God! I send my warmest greetings to you. I have nothing to post you, but whenever I am making a fasting, I remember you in my prayers.

An overwhelming joy always fills my heart whenever the Herald of His Coming arrives. One’s expectations are highlighted toward revival and heartfelt encouragements. It has helped my walk with God through Jesus Christ our Lord. It has deeply encouraged and exhorted me in this present time even as we look forward to the blessed hope – the coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

I presently live in a society of predominantly Muslim and some Christians. And the Word of God is mostly not preached in its fullness, making it difficult for the unsaved to be saved and for people to grow in the grace of God. I thank God for the Herald magazine that helps my spiritual life and deepens my relationship with God. It also helps me with facts, resources and direction of witnessing and praying for the unsaved.

Finally, I would like to thank the supporters – both prayerfully and materially. God enrich all of you abundantly. My gratitude and joy to Herald International for being faithful in sending me Herald of His Coming regularly…

I am a missionary pastor from the Republic of Zambia. I’m doing church planting in one of the remotest parts of Botswana among the unreached people groups known as Basarwa (Bushmen). The Herald of His Coming has been a sickle on my left hand whereas the Bible has been a sword on my right hand…. Please keep on sending this reviving, refreshing and prayer motivating Herald paper….

Thank you for your faithfulness in sending me the Herald paper. It has indeed anointed me spiritually and since I started receiving Herald of His Coming my life has improved a lot. Enclosed in my last copy of the Herald was a note reminding me that this may be my last copy. Please, I don’t think I can do without this paper. It is always the source of my inspiration. Please continue to send me more copies. We are always praying for you.

I want to continue to receive the Herald of His Coming. Nowadays I can’t contribute with money, but, please, I want the Herald. It’s so good to my life and for my friends’ lives too. Thank you very much.

Thank you for putting my name on the mailing list. It was a great privilege for me to have a Herald each month, because Herald can make me easy to understand what it means in the Bible. Herald satisfies my thirsty and longing soul. Herald is one of my sources to know what Jesus really wants me to be. To have a Herald is a great and overflowing blessing. From the bottom of my heart thank you very much….

You can not even imagine what an "old" issue of the Herald paper can do in a life. It was through such an issue that I read for the first time the Herald. This was in 1989. I was then about one year old in the Lord. At that time I couldn’t believe one could receive such a paper free. In 1990 I was registered and have continuously received the Herald. It has shaped my life in an unconditional manner. I owe much of what I am today to the Herald….

I appreciate Herald of His Coming so much. The articles are such an encouragement and blessing. I pass the paper on to others, and to some in nursing homes. Thank you.

Once again, thanks for this month’s Herald of His Coming. All the articles were helpful to me. Thank you for the opportunity to give to the Herald ministry, not only because I have been so blessed by it, but that I can help even in a small way, to obey Christ’s command to "go into all the world and make disciples of all nations."

Thank you and our loving Savior, for your support while I was in prison. What I used to think was the worst thing that could happen to me has been the greatest blessing of my life! (Prov. 3:11-12; Heb. 12:5-6). I gave up self-will and prayed for Christ’s will and desire and accepted Him into my life as Savior, Lord and King. And my life has been an awesome blessing. These eight months I’ve been home have been hard work. But I know the Lord wanted me to work hard at becoming independent of my past. I now have a family life that only comes from God, as well as a great job, which I do passionately as part of my worship to Him who is so deserving. Thank you for remembering those in prison as if you were in prison with them (Heb. 13:3).

Here is a love offering in the Name of Jesus, a Name above all other names!

Thank you for the work you do compiling the Herald messages – inspiring and challenging and affirming! I appreciate the truth, though at times it’s painful. I’m not able to articulate all the ways I’ve been blessed by the Herald. I have been so encouraged. And God has affirmed the way to pray so often with Herald of His Coming. Thank you!
