Prayer! To Burdened Prayer!

We busy folk in this age of rush don’t seem to have time to pray until
we are weeping and mourning out our hearts before our loving Heavenly Father.
But God is not changing His terms. He
calls for us to put everything we have into this matter of praying for a Holy
Ghost revival. If the stark terror of conditions in the whole world today, and
even in our own blessed land--do not drive us to real prayer--we are almost
“Gather the people...Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare Thy people, O Lord, and give not Thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God? Then will the Lord be jealous for His land, and pity His people. Yea, the Lord will answer....” (Joel 2:16-19).
